Meet Kerri: Interdisciplinary Visual Artist & Art Therapist
Kerri is an interdisciplinary visual artist, facilitator, and collaborator. Her diverse career spans Canada, the U.S., and Europe, guiding creative projects ranging from community theatre in public parks to full-scale touring circuses.
Since returning to her hometown, Kerri has worked with the City of Edmonton, the City of St. Albert, and The Art Gallery of Alberta. She also frequently participates in local festivals and artist-in-residence programs.
Her Philosophy: Creativity, Wellness, and Community
Kerri firmly believes that every person possesses unique, inherent creativity. As an art therapist, her mission is to support and nourish these artistic gifts. Through creative expression, she helps clients foster personal awareness, emotional wellness, and empowerment. By nurturing individual healing, Kerri aims to build healthier, more resilient communities where future generations can thrive.
Connection to the Earth and Community
Deeply connected to the environment, Kerri is a dedicated steward of the land. She previously spent four years living off-grid with her partner, cultivating organic vegetables and medicinal herbs.
Kerri is profoundly grateful to live, work, and create on the traditional lands of Treaty 6 in Amiskwaciwâskahikan (Edmonton). She honors the opportunity to collaborate with the diverse peoples who call this vibrant region home.
